On December 2, 2010, Cascade Consultants held the initial meeting of the HR Association of Armenia at the Yerevan Brandy Company.
The idea of establishment of the HR community dates back to 2008, when the HR Club meetings were initiated to enable the HR specialists to come together and discuss issues of vital importance. A series of discussions brought forth the necessity of establishment of an integral structure that would commit to the development, regulation and standardization of the HR industry in Armenia.
The leading HR specialists representing 24 companies took part in the presentation of the HR Association. The structure, basic goals and objectives and as well the event calendar planned by HR Association for 2011 were presented to the participants. As the result of discussions the participants proposed a number of changes in the projected structure of the HR Association to optimize the activities thereof.
At the end of the presentation and discussion, the participants had a guided tour of the Yerevan Brandy Company and tasted the Armenian brandies, and a special cake bearing the HR Association logotype.
